Closing at $583.95, Netflix Inc. fell $9.82 short of its 52-week high of $593.77, which had been reached on February 15th.

Underperforming in Comparison to Competitors

When compared to some of its competitors on Friday, Netflix Inc.'s stock underperformed. Apple Inc. (AAPL, -0.84%) saw a 0.84% decline to $182.31, Walt Disney Co. (DIS, -0.76%) fell by 0.76% to $111.60, and Comcast Corp. Cl A (CMCSA, -1.34%) experienced a 1.34% drop to $41.24.

Decreased Trading Volume

The trading volume for Netflix Inc. stood at 4.3 million shares, which is 896,136 below its 50-day average volume of 5.2 million shares.
