Datalex, the Irish digital retail technology company, has announced an agreement with Aer Lingus, a subsidiary of International Consolidated Airlines Group. The partnership extension will focus on accelerating Aer Lingus's digital retailing strategy.

Under the agreement, Datalex will provide Aer Lingus with a new digital transformation platform, granting full access to its product suite. This will enable the airline to deliver new products and expedite the migration of existing ones.

Datalex's software will enhance Aer Lingus's brand through a digitally enabled value proposition. Both companies will derive value from a combination of transaction and license models, reflecting the benefits that Datalex brings to Aer Lingus.

The partnership between the two companies has also been extended for a further five years.

"This marks a significant milestone in our partnership with Aer Lingus as we introduce an extensive digital transformation plan, ensuring the long-term success of one of our most valued airline customers. With the implementation of a transaction model, both companies are now fully aligned in achieving digital growth, benefiting us both," stated Sean Corkery, Chief Executive Officer of Datalex.
